Buddha Beach is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Oak Creek that runs through Sedona without having the huge crowds of people. There is a parking lot area at the start of the trailhead not too far off from the crisp, flowing water. Follow dirt road down the hill towards the line of bright green trees that follow the course of the creek.
Once you dip down into the shade of the trees, the trickling sound of a stream nearby becomes audible. If you follow the path where the water leads, you will be guided to a large pool of water deep enough to swim in.
Signs of crawfish are everywhere as well circular sand-walled homes children have built to keep them in after they catch them. This is a great place to bring family and dogs. The sandy beaches provide for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy this magical oasis under the desert painted sky. Activities include: Hiking, picnicking, swimming, tanning, nature viewing, crawfish catching
