Secret Canyon Trail features a hiking trail that is picturesque when desiring to view the gorgeous red rock formations Sedona has to offer. This trail offers the opportunity to diverge onto separate trails or venture into different canyons.
The parking lot at the actual trailhead is only accessible with a truck or off-road vehicle, as it is a very difficult, rough, rocky dirt road. There were many trees whose branches twisted with both a brown and a rich red variation. The Sedona mountains are red in the distance. The dirt below is made of a fine red dust. Even the grasshoppers jumping around are red.
The Secret Canyon Trail hosts a 5.5-mile path full of life and great scenery. Following the trail, you will cross the Dry Creek quite a few times, which is properly named, because it is very dry. Activities include: Hiking, OHV Route, nature viewing
